| Tomb of Regent Pontjodirjo The building is located in the Islamic period Hamlet Village Genjahan Kerjo I Ponjong District. Regent I Pontjodirjo is that at that time based in the capital district Ponjong.  Regent Mas Tumenggung Pontjodirjo became the first regent in Gunungkidul, but not long-serving because of the determination of the boundaries between the Sultan of Yogyakarta Gunungkidul area with Mangkunegara II on May 13, 1831. So Gunungkidul (without sub Ngawen) has become the district. Mas Tumenggung Pontjodirjo Sambernyawa appointed by the Prince. He was replaced by the regents of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta as Tumenggung Prawirosetiko named Mas, who eventually transferred to the district capital of Ponjong Wonosari. |
